Maxwell von Madda is a striking looking 13 month old black sable German Shepherd who is full of puppy energy and relishes tumbling across the lawn with his canine friend, Lily. Originally shy, he is becoming more confident in his foster home and learning new things every day – like how to ride in a car and order takeout from McDonalds. Housebroken and loving, young Maxwell is on the rambunctious side and occasionally likes to chew on something other than his toys, so he requires supervision until he outgrows this stage. Like most shepherds, Maxwell becomes easily attached to his people and likes to stay close, remaining somewhat aloof with strangers. He shows no aggression but has an intimidating, rumbling bark if someone approaches your house. Maxwell is fostered in a home that includes a cat, in whom he has shown little interest.
